About Us

A shop that still believes in doing it right

Old Washington Wood Works started with a simple conviction: that wood deserves patience, and that every project — whether a kitchen cabinet or a simple shelf — is worth doing properly.

Located on Eakin Street in Washington, Arkansas, we've spent years serving homeowners, builders, and makers who want results they can feel. We cut, we fit, we finish. And we stand behind every piece that leaves our shop.

What We Do

Craftsmanship you can count on

From raw lumber to finished installation, we handle every stage with care and attention to detail.

Custom Cabinetry

Kitchen, bathroom, and built-in cabinets designed to your specifications. We select the wood, design the joinery, and finish every piece to match your space.

Finished Lumber

Hardwood and softwood, milled to your exact dimensions. We stock a rotating selection of domestic and exotic species for any project.

Woodworking Hardware

Hinges, pulls, fasteners, and specialty fittings. If it holds wood together, we probably carry it — and we'll help you pick the right one.

Trim & Molding

Baseboards, crown molding, casing, and custom millwork. We cut and fit trim for new construction and renovation projects alike.

Decks & Outdoor

Deck framing, railings, and outdoor structures built to handle Arkansas weather. We work with pressure-treated lumber and composite materials.

Repair & Restoration

Stairs, furniture, doors, and structural woodwork — we repair what's worn and restore what's been neglected. Every piece has a story.

Testimonials

What our clients say

The cabinets they built for our kitchen are exactly what we envisioned. The attention to detail in the joinery and finish was remarkable — you can tell this is a shop that takes pride in its work.

Homeowner, Washington AR

I've been buying lumber from them for years. They always have what I need, the cuts are precise, and the staff actually knows wood. That's rare to find these days.

Local Builder

They restored a 100-year-old mantel in our home and it looks brand new. The care they took with the original craftsmanship was something special. Highly recommend.

Homeowner, Prairie Creek
